Improv inspired by specifically, out-of-context clips of dramatic films and TV on top of an improvised episode of Law & Order from Some Kinda Monster is one of our favorite improv shows.

Come catch their first show of 2018 at UCB Sunset this week where Colton Dunn (NBC’s Superstore), Phil Jackson (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Key and Peele) will be joining them.

This second season of Ian Abramson’s stand-up-comedy-equivalent-of-a-Skinner-Box, 7 Minutes in Purgatory, really showcases the stark contrast of what performing comedy without an audience while another audience enjoys it in a separate, remote location.

Just see how Maria Bamford beautifully handles performing in front of a 1000 empty seats while there’s a smaller, but mightier number of warm bodies three stories above her thoroughly delighting in her performance.

You can also see how host Ian Abramson, Jon Dore, Michelle Buteau, Colton Dunn, Caitlin Gill and Bobcat Goldthwait all handled the existential quandary of 7 Minutes in Purgatory in all different sorts of ways as well some inside commentary from their fellow performers/purgatory dwellers.

Here’s Another Installment of College Humor’s “If Google Was a Guy”

Having a clean, simple, faceless interface to literally type anything you wish to query is part of why we Google anything our hearts, minds, and other parts wish to Google.

Making that process into something more akin to asking a librarian is such an awkward experience that it has helped make College Humor’s If Google Was a Guy starring Brian Huskey one of their best series.

Watch the latest episode here.

College Humor shows us why we should be glad that we’re asking the non-sentient, sans human body Google all the questions that we ask Google.

Basically, you’d get a real judgmental look from the guy you’re asking 24/7/365. Watch the clip here.

Colton Dunn Joins NBC Pilot ‘The Pro’

Rob Lowe’s tennis comedy pilot The Pro at NBC just keeps getting better. First, Rob Riggle is playing opposite of Lowe and now, the very funny Colton Dunn (who we would hope you know from Key & Peele or even rapping next to Eddie Pepitone on Arsenio) has joined the cast.

We really want to see this get picked up now.

If you weren’t aware, Arsenio Hall has been having a one of a kind rapper in MC Destructo/Eddie Pepitone on The Arsenio Hall Show along with his hype man Diggum/Colton Dunn.

Yes, you read that right: Eddie Pepitone freestyle rapping on nationally syndicated television with Colton Dunn as a hype man.

So, with that being said, watch MC Destructo’s latest appearance on Arsenio here.

Under the moniker MC Destructo along with the hype man skills of Colton Dunn, Eddie Pepitone brought some fire to the mic at The Arsenio Hall Show, rapping about real life, specifically real life as it pertains to Pepitone instead of in the general “in the streets” sense.

Watch Destructo/Pepitone do his thing.
