Actually, we don’t know if there’s a really universally good way to break up with someone, but it’s still pretty fun to watch Thomas Middleditch “reenact” a break-up with Alexi Wasser on her show Alexi on Bed.

With all this talk of love in the air as this is the eve of Valentine’s Day, there is, of course, talk of love lost, break-ups, etc. With the talk of break-ups in that smaller fraction in the air, there’s an even smaller subset people that have broken up, though not from each other.

Instead, they’re in a couple that breaks up from another couple.

That’s the idea behind Giulia Rozzi and Brooke Van Poppelen’s new web series Seeing Other People where Giulia and Brooke, each in their own happy couple with Tommy Pope and Patrick Hosmer, break-up with each other.

Matt Kazman and Eric Ian Goldberg’s brand new web series Love’s a Bitch at YouTube’s Official Comedy is not only a great web series, but probably the perfect thing to wrangle that bitterness in this Valentine’s Day weekend if you’re not happily in a relationship (and who the hell has that, right?). Jamie Lee and Josh Rabinowitz star and do a great job trying to not rip each other’s throats out as a recently broken up couple.

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen a good mockumentary or even really thought of the word despite shows like The Office being such a phenomenon. Still, “Break Up at Wedding” seems to be just that mockumentary we’re looking for following a videographer not cutting out any of a disastrous wedding he just shot.
