An Al Capone Festival in Iceland, the first documentary about the Inuit, drug cartels, a band called Blue Jean Committee, are just a few “subjects” they’ll be covering.

The minds of Armisen, Hader, and Meyers have banded together to make up fake history of which to do documentaries about. The series, which has been ordered for six episodes at IFC, is appropriately called Documentary Now!

Fred and Bill will star in the series donning a plethora of costumes and accents.

Look for Documentary Now! on IFC starting Thurs. Aug. 20th at 10PM.

Disney Pixar’s latest Inside Out, which features Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Lewis Black, Bill Hader, and Phyllis Smith as the voice of adorably anthropomorphized emotions got a new trailer today.

From the looks of it, it looks like this will be another home run with the creative and cleverly imagined world and fully realized, charming non-human characters. Also, it’s almost too perfect that Poehler is the voice of Joy.

Inside Out is set for a Jun. 19th release.

Bill Hader Recounts One of His Most Nightmarish Moments on SNL

With this being the eve of The SNL 40th Anniversary Special, it’s a perfect time to hear Bill Hader’s story on Letterman about being forced along with Will Forte and host Josh Brolin to do a terrible sketch at the behest of Lorne Michaels in addition to trading Lorne impressions with Dave.

Also, the “fart face” sketch that Hader is describing is conveniently available to accompany his story right here. This sketch is sort of amazing after hearing the story as neither Bill, Will, or Josh get even close to breaking.

The Antics of Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig Make Golden Globes Worth Watching

Last night’s Golden Globes was the third and last time that Amy Poehler and Tina Fey hosted the ceremony and they did not disappoint. Their monologue had all their jokes and bits hit so well, as you’d expect for the room and over the telecast. They also didn’t shy away from the Bill Cosby jokes they said they were going to, an incredibly bold move for an awards show monologue.

This makes us think that they’re idea that this would be the last Golden Globes one worth entertaining.

However, it would also be worth entertaining the presenter segment with Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig. Come to think of it, they would be a pretty great hosting duo as well, wouldn’t they? #GoldenGlobesSeason2?

Disney Pixar’s latest original, non-sequel film, The Good Dinosaur, is coming almost a year to the day from now (more precisely a year and 5 days on Nov. 25th, 2015).

The voices of Neil Patrick Harris, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Frances McDormand, and more will all play out the story of a dinosaur befriending a human. It undoubtedly will, like most of the Disney Pixar canon, make us all laugh and tug at our heart strings.

Just check out the first image of Arlo the Apatosaurus (i.e. “The Good Dinosaur”) above and try to be cold and heartless.

The Skeleton Twins with Bill Hader is playing in a few more dozen theaters this weekend and you should definitely catch it if you can. When Hader was on Late Night with Seth Meyers this week, he talked about how much fun he had with his former SNL castmate Kristen Wiig and how they had to kept together for the movie’s intense moments.

Bill is also hosting the third episode of Saturday Night Live this season on Oct. 11th and we wonder how Stefon would potentially deal with Colin Jost and Michael Che.

“The Skeleton Twins” Expands to 50 Theaters Today and You Should Go See It

The Skeleton Twins has played in LA and NYC for the week to a great critical and commercial reception and there’s definitely a reason, if not several, for why that’s happening.

The top billing from Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig doesn’t disappoint as they show how fun both of them hanging out during SNL rehearsals can be, but also they throughly go to dark places and make us want to follow them all the way there and back. Luke Wilson is also played beautifully as a stark contrast to their misanthropic, self-destructive duo. Co-writer-director Craig Johnson manages to take something that, on paper, could be just intensely dark and heavy, and presents with a deft, caring hand.

Constantly switching gears between the hysterical and the cathartic, it’s definitely worth checking out, especially since it expanded to 50 theaters this weekend.

So, Bill Hader used to work on The Playboy Channel’s Night Calls as a P.A. to porn stars, which was not as great as it might sound. He also co-wrote a sketch with John Mulaney involving the late Casey Kasem.

Hader thankfully talked about both things while on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week all for our enjoyment. Perhaps, the Kasem bit will make Seth Meyers’ Second Chance Theater?

In their latest work together, The Skeleton Twins, SNL castmates Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig play estranged siblings that reexamine why they’re estranged after surviving a near death experience.

From the trailer, there’s plenty of what seems to be what it must be like to hang out with Hader and Wiig. The Skeleton Twins comes out September 19th.

Bill Hader To Create & Star In HBO Series

HBO is really racking it up with their comedy slate. We’re already highly anticipating The Brink with Jack Black and Tim Robbins and now we have an entire Bill Hader series to also look forward to.

Even if it’s Hader mostly doing obscure Star Wars impressions, we’d be cool with that.

John Mulaney’s appearance last night on Late Night with Seth Meyers covered a whole lot of ground that we found out the elements that were the catalyst for Stefon, a wonderful story about a farm not to have a wedding at, and a nice brief preview of his upcoming Fox sitcom Mulaney (at min. 28).

Not that you’d be surprised, but this is all pretty great and worth watching now.

Bill Hader Will Write for South Park Next Season

Not that one of the longest running shows at Comedy Central, South Park, needed a shot in the arm, but Bill Hader joining in at South Park as announced yesterday at Comic Con will definitely make for a very intriguing season especially given their lightning fast concept to finished episode process.

We wonder if Hader’s weird impressions will end up being South Park characters.
