With an ensemble cast of Thomas Middleditch, Nick Kroll, Adam Pally, Brett Gelman, Alex Ross Perry, Jenny Slate, and Aubrey Plaza, you might think you’re listening to a supersized episode of Comedy Bang! Bang!

However, for the moment, that’s not the case. That cast has been assembled for the dramedy, Joshy, from Jeff Baena. Middleditch plays a groom-to-be whose wedding gets called off, but has to go through with the bachelor party anyway.

Sounds fun, huh?

Here’s the trailer.

Look for it in theaters starting August 12th, then streaming on Hulu.

Jason Schwartzman gets to play a caustic, self-obsessed writer in Alex Ross Perry‘s Listen Up Philip with Elisabeth Moss putting up with him as his girlfriend and Jonathan Pryce as a witty, manipulative mentor.

Sound fun? It sure looks like it in this trailer. It’s due out for a limited release on Oct. 17th.

Listen Up Philip Starring Jason Schwartzman-Elisabeth Moss Will Get U.S Theatrical Release

Sundance dark comedy Listen Up Philip from Alex Ross Perry with Jason Schwartzman and Elisabeth Moss as well as Krysten Ritter, Jonathan Pryce, Jess Weixler, Dree Hemingway, and Josephine de La Baume will hit U.S. theaters this October.
Tribeca Film will be distributing it across North America and we’ll all get a chance to see Schwartzman as a brooding author waiting for publication. Maybe there’s a club for that where Paul Giamatti is in charge?
