Pete Holmes and Chris Thayer Eat Habanero Peppers and Try to Do an Interview

As part of the Spicy News Network, there is a special segment where two comedians, as opposed to one just trying to do topical headline jokes, try to conduct an interview after ingesting a habanero pepper, one of the hottest chili peppers on the planet.

For this episode, they had on Pete Holmes and Chris Thayer, which is not only hilarious, but kind of amazing as both are still lightning fast with jokes even when it seems like they’re in excruciating pain.

Watch now if you feel like laughing at all right now.

Some Thoughts of Patrick Keane, A Comedian Who Performed 30 Minutes Away From Newtown, On the Shootings

Patrick Keane is a hilarious comedian that you should definitely catch when and wherever you can. That’s why he’s doing the road right now, which has brought him to a comedy club in CT not too far from Newtown, CT, a town that went from supposedly once 5th safest in the nation to one that will unfortunately now live in infamy due to yesterday’s school shooting.

From comedians alone, there’s been a lot of anger thrown around the Internet over the last 24 hours, but seldom few that have a connection, if any, to the actual events. That’s why you should give Patrick Keane’s FB post a read, regardless of your stance on media coverage/gun control/etc.

‘The Bitter Buddha’ To Get VOD Release in Feb. 2013

This documentary The Bitter Buddha about Eddie Pepitone is one of the best we’ve seen about comedy, not to mention it’s about a comedian that millions of more people should know about. It’s currently still making the rounds on the festival circuit, but it’ll start come out to watch on your own time on VOD in February of next year.

Given Eddie’s take on corporations and the fact that greeting card companies have largely made up Valentine’s Day, this should make a perfect Valentine’s Day gift for anyone that you want to make laugh and enlighten.
