Morning Debriefing 8/8/11

1) The Down Syndrome’s Association of the UK finds Doug Stanhope offensive. The fact it took the DSA so long to find and be offended by a clip of Stanhope ranting on Sarah Palin and her child with Down’s Syndrome, a clip that’s been online for almost 3 years not to mention Stanhope’s reputation for going dark with jokes about abortion, denouncing AA, etc., really undercuts their public outcry.

2) Weird Al Yankovic will officially have a televised concert special on Comedy Central to air on Oct. 1st and available for purchase on DVD/Blu-Ray Oct. 4th.
