The lengths and depths of humanity that Forest MacNeil (Andy Daly) has been subjected to while doing two seasons of Review are beyond comprehension.

Yet, this trailer reveals a third and final season that somehow gets Forrest to go through the gauntlet yet again and put his life and the lives of others in plenty of danger for the sake of reviewing the “human experience”.

It is one of the best shows that Comedy Central has ever made.

See for yourself in this trailer and then look for the season 3 premiere of Review next week on Thursday, March 16th.

Third and Final Season of “Review” to Premiere on March 16

Forrest MacNeil and his never ending quest to review “life” no matter how it ruins his life will have its final chapters starting Thursday, March 16th on Comedy Central.

This is without a doubt one of the best series that Comedy Central has made and Andy Daly gives Forrest a weirdly undeniable charm despite making pretty much nothing but awful decisions every step of the way.

“Review” on Comedy Central to Have Short 3rd and Final Season

(via The Hollywood Reporter)

Rather than having to bend the rules of the universe they have created, Andy Daly and the team at Review are letting Forrest MacNeil get some peace… probably.

Review is one of the shows that is at the core of Comedy Central’s current renaissance, both in the writing, execution, and the fantastic work done by the show’s star Andy Daly. So, they’re going to preserve the integrity of the show and have an abbreviated 3rd season that might be as short as three episodes or even shown as a movie to tie up the mess that MacNeil has made of his life over and over again.

While it’s sad to see Review come to a close, it is great that Daly is ending it on his terms.

With his life and well-being constantly in danger, one might wonder how the close of the second season of Review might come about without just outright killing host Forrest MacNeil and living up to the fight at the end of season one.

Well, the show ingeniously has Forrest review conspiracy theories, which leads him to create a conspiracy theory about the reviews he’s assigned. That’s as much as we’ll say for fear of spoiling of anything else.

Watch it here.

Forrest MacNeil Is Putting Himself Even More in Harm’s Way in Season 2 Trailer for “Review”

Season 1 of Review made Forrest MacNeil/Andy Daly almost lose everything. Family, friends, sense of self and purpose, and more seem to fall away one by one with each review that Forrest took on.

Yet, despite a temporary disappearance, MacNeil is back on to doing his duty for mankind by reviewing whatever is asked of him as evidenced in this trailer for season 2.

Apparently, such important duty involves having an arrow shot at an apple on his head, glory holes, prison, and more.

Please mark your calendars for the season 2 premiere of Review on July 30th at 10PM on Comedy Central.

The last known sighting of him was captured in this video. Comedy Central requests that you, “please tag all tips regarding his whereabouts with #FindForrest or send them to FindForrestMacNeil@gmail.com.”

Our guess is that you should look for Andy Daly somewhere in LA, perhaps with an Irish accent.

Comedy Central Renews Review, Inside Amy Schumer, and TripTank, and Orders a Bunch of New Series

As far as we’re concerned, Comedy Central really has stepped up its programming over the last couple of years and did a great job in re-imagining and expanding their brand.

So, it comes as great news, but no surprise to us that they renewed Review and TripTank for second seasons and Inside Amy Schumer for a third season on top of ordering Another Period with Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome and Idiotsitter with Jillian Bell and Charlotte Newhouse to series.

They also have ordered six new web series for CC:Studios: 6 Guys 1 Car, 300 Sunnyside, New Timers, Pie Guys, Roustabout with Kurt Braunohler and Team Tiger Awesome.

It’s a pretty great time for Comedy Central right now.
