Watch Louis CK on Hillary (with Minimal Trump Bashing), the Prospect of Dancing, and Walking Around NYC with His Fly Down
When you see Louis CK on TV these days, expect a deeply human story born out of very simple, relatable embarrassment, an original angle on the zeitgeist, and comparisons that come out of a left field for comedic effect. Those are some of the big elements that have made him this balance between a grounded, organic comedian/storyteller/filmmaker while maintaining a bit of his absurdist flights of fancy.
He delivered on all three in his appearance on Conan last night starting of with a great case for Hillary Clinton being President sans very many digs at Trump and his supporters.
Then, he followed it up with a story about how he learned the value of honesty and openness through walking around the city with his fly down and open and then breaking down the idea of dancing, both as something that can empower and also promise someone a heartbreaking path in life.
If you use a bit of imagination, you can make this up as an episode of Louie to play out in your head.
Undecided: The Movie, the Movie Following Two Undecided Pranksters on the Campaign Trail, Is Now on Netflix
So much crazy stuff has happened this election just in the past month that it seems crazy that the rest of it even happened.
You probably even forgot that Jason Selvig and Davram Stiefler starred in a faux documentary where they went along the election campaign trail as two “undecideds” and attempted to see what each campaign was about as well as prank the likes of Jeb Bush, Trump, Clinton, Rubio, Ben Carson, etc. Aasif Mandvi and Jena Friedman from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart are pushing them along the whole way in this crazy journey captured in Undecided: The Movie.
Along with Triumph the Insult Comic Dog’s election coverage, you might feel slightly less on edge leading up to November 8th with this doc. It’s available to stream now on Netflix.
Adam Ruins Everything to Ruin the Election in TV Special Tonight
While so much of this election is unbelievable, Adam Conover and the good folks at Adam Ruins Everything are going to show that there is precedence for the craziness of this year, effectively “ruining” whatever you were misconceptions you were having about politics being the way it is now.
The Adam Ruins Everything Election Special premieres tonight at 10PM on TruTV.
Triumph the Insult Comic Dog Has a Brand New Election Special Now Streaming on Hulu
Well, it might be just perfect timing for a new election themed special from Robert Smigel and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog as the almost 64 million people that watched last night’s presidential debate are still trying to stop their head from spinning.
Triumph’s Election Watch 2016 just started streaming on Hulu over the weekend and not only focuses on Trump and Hillary, but Gary “Aleppo Moment” Johnson.
If you have a Hulu account (remember Hulu isn’t free at all anymore), you can watch it here.
Full Frontal with Samantha Bee Went to a Gay Bar and a Sports Bar to Watch the First Presidential Debate
The findings from this field report might not be shocking to you, but they’re still pretty entertaining, especially when they have a Trump supporter who thought Trump won chats with a Hillary supporter after the debate finishes.
Ben Gleib, Jackie Kashian, Paul Provenza, and more make fun of the first 2016 presidential debate while it’s happening. The debate will be historic, whether you like that or not, but the show will make it one fun night no matter what Hillary and Trump say.
Comedy Juice Squeezes The Presidential Debate will be happening concurrently with the debate at The Hollywood Improv Comedy Lab on Monday, Sept. 26th 8PM.
Tickets are only $7 and you can (and should) get them here.
Watch Hillary Clinton on Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis
You know the drill by now.
One of the funniest web series of all time has one of the most powerful people in the world essentially go through a round of back-and-forth roast jokes and it’s great.
This latest edition with Hillary Clinton is no exception to said drill and we definitely undid the damage of that Pokemon Go pun that Clinton used from a few weeks back.
Watch and enjoy here.
Stephen Colbert Talks to a 1776 Version of Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson About Hillary Clinton Being Democratic Presidential Nominee
Don’t be silly. Of course you didn’t.
Anyhow, Abbi and Ilana attempt to be as ‘1776′ as possible while taking in the news that Hillary Clinton is the first female presidential nominee of a major political party. Watch it here.
Stephen Colbert Interviews Cartoon Hillary Clinton and Nails It
Stephen Colbert is really getting to fly during these two weeks during the major political party conventions. Sending up the RNC was Colbert definitely thriving back in his wheelhouse last week.
With this week’s Democratic National Convention, Stephen and his staff at The Late Show really get to show off just how sharp they are at political satire/comedy they really are.
Case in point: the cartoon version of Hillary Clinton doing an interview with Stephen, a la the cartoon Donald Trump that Colbert also interviewed earlier this year.
It’s honestly one of the best send ups of Hillary we’ve seen in this election year thus far.
Stephen Colbert Previews His RNC and DNC Coverage on CBS This Morning
For both the Republican National Convention and the Democratic National Convention, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will be going live with their coverage of the two events for two weeks.
With the insane climate of this presidential election and the amount of air time that Colbert has, The Late Show has lots of stuff up their sleeve including an appearance by Jon Stewart, a giant musical number, and more.
James Adomian’s Bernie Sanders Says Farewell After Real Sanders Endorses Hillary Clinton

As luck would have it, the first people to hear this song have, are, and will always “feel the bern”
Rachel Sweeney Makes a Bernie Sanders-Hillary Clinton Version of Barbara Streisand’s “Papa, Can You Hear Me?” from Yentl
This hotly contest presidential primary has millions of people, just on the democratic side, conflicted about who they should side with.
Filmmaker and performer Rachel Sweeney has taken this inner conflict and made into a pretty great parody of the 1983 Barbara Streisand musical, Yentl.
Instead of singing “Papa, Can You Hear Me?”, Sweeney sings “Bernie, Can You Hear Me?” and makes one of the best Yentl-based bits of comedy we’ve ever seen.
Michelle Wolf Connects Hillary Clinton, Amelia Earhart, and Short Men on ‘Late Night’
Frequent bit player at Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Daily Show’s newest contributor, Michelle Wolf, makes her latest late night stand-up set about the positives and negatives of a potential Hillary Clinton presidency. Somehow, she makes that seamlessly tie in with Amelia Earhart and short men.
Samantha Bee’s Makes Sure to Pick Apart Both the Recent GOP and Democratic Debate on ‘Full Frontal’
During election years, presidential candidates are promised equal air time at a given TV network. If one candidate gets to be on air for a specific amount of time, other candidates can request that same amount of air time on the same network.
As she has been doing since day one at her show, Samantha goes for the jugular in her jokes with almost no remorse and we can’t get enough.
Neal Brennan Breaks Down Hillary’s Appeal to the Black Vote, Depression, and His “3 Mics” Show
Though he is only mic’d with one mic, it’s a pretty good display of the range he has on his much talked about Three Mics show.
Jimmy Dore Shows How Hilariously Bad the Las Vegas Caucus Was Carried Out
His findings are both pretty damn funny, but also, at the same time, saddening as caution is being thrown to the wind in such a hotly contested election.
Beth Stelling Gets Her Own Desk and Accompanying Web Series with “The Desk”
It’s about time Beth Stelling got her own show.
The fantastic Beth Stelling now has her own web series where she can fire off late night monologue style jokes behind her own desk. The desk may not be inside a studio or in front a live audience, but that really doesn’t get in the way of how damn funny Beth is.
Watch first episode here.
