Last night, Julian McCullough appeared on The Tonight Show and got to regal us all with both a nicely done set and a story of the worst time he ever bombed.
It’s great to see Julian go from, years ago, performing for a Pop Warner Football benefit to, despite what certain parents thought of his comedy, doing The Tonight Show.
For months now, Will Ferrell and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith have been embroiled in a feud as to who is the better drummer. Last night on The Tonight Show, they had a drum off, for charity of course, to really see who is the best.
The ending and Ferrell’s drumming chops will surprise you.
Jimmy Fallon is Taking The Tonight Show to Orlando For a Week
Jimmy Fallon has not only made Tonight Show history simply by being the new host, but he will be the first host to take The Tonight Show out of its home studio and shoot remotely.
In mid-June, he’ll be down in Orlando and will tape a week of episodes. Considering how almost every other late night show has done something like this over the years, it’s about time this happened at The Tonight Show.
Craig Robinson stopped by The Tonight Show and took to the piano for a fun musical medley where he encouraged/demanded that the audience singalong.
Last night, Louis C.K. was on both The Tonight Show and his own show Louie. In both appearances, C.K. detailed his suspicion, given a certain situation, the worst circumstances despite the outcome.
One case was Fallon mysterious disappearing and the other was what happens with one’s kids when taking the NYC subway.
Very simply put, this set by Nick Vatterott on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is hysterical and brilliant.

This week, Jim Gaffigan chatted with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show and gave a pretty great preview of his fantastic (we’ve been playing the our press copy on repeat since we got it) new hour special Obsessed, premiering this Sun. on Comedy Central at 10PM. Really, Gaffigan simply did a nice chunk of his act in conversation, which left Fallon slapping his desk laughing throughout the whole thing pretty much.
John Oliver stopped by The Tonight Show last night and talked about getting mentally ready for the premiere of his show this Sun. Last Week Tonight on HBO. Specifically, Oliver is disappointed there isn’t as much graffiti on Last Week Tonight posters and shares his one time getting heckled when playing for the troops.
Respected news anchor Brian Williams has had clips of him chopped up and reassembled into rap songs for years by Jimmy Fallon and his staff such as this rendition of Snoop Dogg’s Gin and Juice.
Having had about enough of this, Williams came on to The Tonight Show and had a conversation with Fallon about this whole phenomenon. Watch parts one and two now.

Stephen Colbert to Replace David Letterman
Well, CBS isn’t waiting around to see what other choices might surface next year to replace Letterman. They’re putting their money on Stephen Colbert and it’s probably their best bet to compete with The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as well as draw a brand new young audience that Colbert has at his command.
This makes us curious to how Colbert will potentially leave his Colbert Report character at Comedy Central.
It doesn’t matter what the name of the show is, Bill Cosby is still going to mess with Jimmy Fallon with bungee jumping, tight rope walking, and Fallon’s impression of him.
Just like all the times at Late Night, Cosby’s appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is pretty wonderful.
Jimmy Fallon is having a whole bunch of fun since taking over The Tonight Show.

You might have heard that comedian David Brenner, noted for his record number of appearances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and even guest hosting from time to time (only a select few including David Steinberg can say that), just passed away after a battle with cancer at the age of 78. May his soul rest in peace after a long wondrous comedy career.

Thus, they did Billy in the Audience, complete with all the running and screaming you’ve come to know and love. Don’t forget that season 3 of Billy on the Street premieres tonight on Fuse at 11PM.
Michelle Obama to Appear on ‘Parks and Recreation’
Following doing a sketch on The Tonight Show called “Ew!”, The First Lady of the United States’ next scripted appearance will be on Parks and Recreation.
Of course, we’ll be looking fowards to .gif made of Leslie Knope’s reactions to meeting Michelle Obama.
So now, Jerry Seinfeld and Hannibal Buress have done stand up under Jimmy Fallon’s administration of The Tonight Show. That’s a pretty nice span in stand-up.

Tonight at midnight on NBC will be the premiere of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with guests Will Smith and U2.
It’s a pretty historic moment, certainly one that happens less often than The Olympics, so you’ll probably want to watch.
Being the first week of the new era of The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon and company of course want to go big and reading this line-up, they certainly did.
Jerry Seinfeld, the First Lady, Will Ferrell, Arcade Fire, his old friend Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, and more will probably make for a pretty good first week for Fallon at 11:30PM starting Mon. Feb. 17th on NBC.
