NBC Passes on David Koechner Variety Sketch Show
With the announcement of Maya Rudolph’s variety sketch special, you might have guessed that the David Koechner variety sketch show that NBC ordered a pilot of was unfortunately done for at NBC.
Hopefully, it can find a home elsewhere. Perhaps, it might even find that home at 11:30PM at Comedy Central that will be open next year.
NBC Will Be Looking For Writers and Sketch Performers/Improvisers For New Sketch Show
Though letting John Mulaney’s pilot go to Fox might be a sign that NBC is shifting it’s branding in comedy, they are looking to make a comedy sketch series (we’re guessing their version of Key & Peele).
They don’t have writers or cast members yet and will be scouting for them very soon throughout the country.
The Walsh Brothers are one of the funniest acts that everyone should know. The Walsh Brothers Great & Secret Sketch Show at Comedy Central’s CC:Studios does not disappoint and just stop whatever you doing to watch this and start double over laughing at their out-of-left-field comedic brilliance.
