Shows like America’s Got Talent are not really set up to be a platform for the weird and wonderful. Often, absurdist characters and comedic performance art gets cued up just to be shot down.

So, Sethward Allison and many of his contemporaries have unfortunately been put in such a situation and with, in our opinion, such little time on stage, their bits never really get to be fleshed out properly for full comedic effect.

Thus, this Friday, Dynasty Typewriter will have a whole night of the weird and offbeat edges of comedy that didn’t get to advance on AGT called America’s Talent Rejects. There will be puppets, giraffes, an incarnation of death, and plenty more.

Go get tickets for America’s Talent Rejects here.

This night features some of the best sandwiches in town, a sweet collection of short films, stand-up, and, on top of all of that, a screening of Wayne’s World all for free.

There’s no helping wanting to say “Party Time! Excellent!”
