Though Sen. Al Franken has been a senator for quite some time now, it’s still kind of crazy to think of how he has made the transition from a comedian that was on SNL to being a veteran lawmaker. 

Yet, he has done just that.

Watch his chat with Jon Stewart on The Daily Show showing how he has put his background in comedy to good use in making an overall better work environment in The Senate for both sides of the aisle as well as getting a good laugh.
