Very quickly, Troy Conrad has amassed quite the series of photos of comedians in one of the famous hallways at The Comedy Store. You can get a bit of preview of his work here.

The way he has used a fish eye lens seems to capture a new era of The Comedy Store and, as such, he is getting his own exhibition tomorrow night of his “Hall Series”.

Brooks Wheelan Shares His Passion of Photography While Admitting He Doesn’t Know Too Much About Photography

This latest episode of Thomas R. Wood’s great web series Outside Comedy trails Brooks Wheelan as he takes a day to hike along a picturesque piece of California coastline and snap as many photos as possible. Turns out that Wheelan loves photography, but likes to do as more of an outsider rather than getting to the specifics of F-stops, color temperature, etc.

As with every episode in this series, the hobbies and obsessions outside of comedy bring a sort of balance and perspective to each comedian and it’s pretty fascinating.

Watch this episode here.

See Wonderful NYC Comedy Over the Past Year Through the Lens of Mindy Tucker

Just like there are a handful of comedians that are on the tip of everyone’s tongue, there are a handful of photographers around the country that capture those comedians and more wherever they can.

Mindy Tucker is one such photographer for the NYC comedy scene and you can see her work in a wonderfully put together stream at the link featuring way too many hilarious people for us to list here (so just go look at it already).
