Every time Bill Murray stops by to hang out at The Late Show with David Letterman, it’s always one hell of a great, silly time.
For instance, last night, Bill just needed to check off a few things from his bucket list like telling a joke and playing a clip from his movie “since he’s never done those things before”.
Hari Kondabolu was on Letterman this week and not only performed a nicely done set of stand up comedy, but has a really great insight about the future, specifically, the year 2042.

On Leno’s Final Night of Tonight Show, Kimmel, Conan, Letterman, The Daily Show Go Big
Tonight, Feb. 3rd, 2014 will be the final night of Jay Leno’s Tonight Show after well over a score of years. Of course, it’ll be a big celebration at The Tonight Show with Billy Crystal as the guest.
However, Jimmy Kimmel with cast of Monuments Men including Matt Damon and Bill Murray, Conan with the entire cast of The Walking Dead, David Letterman with Michael Keaton/The Flaming Lips w/Sean Lennon, and The Daily Show with NYC Mayor Bill De Blasio are making the 11PM hour fierce.
We wouldn’t be surprised if everyone has a joke about a Leno leaving in their monologue tonight as well.
Myq Kaplan has become a Late Show with David Letterman regular with this latest appearance notching his 3rd set on Letterman.

During her interview on Letterman, Lena Dunham revealed that she was thoroughly delighted to get a 3rd season of Girls (premiering this Sun. Jan. 12th 10PM on HBO) considering everything she did in season two, suspecting that she had gotten away with enough according to HBO.

David Letterman Is “Fascinated” by Ken Burns’ The Address
David Letterman was just blown away by legendary documentary filmmaker Ken Burns ‘The Address’ where several celebrities read The Gettysburg Address in montage. In fact, he liked it so much that he decided to play a clip at The Late Show.
Well, we tried our best to not spoil this quick bit, but CBS’ social media team had other ideas.
Last night, NY based Adrienne Iapalucci made her Letterman stand up debut and did so well that she got invited to the couch (even though that’s not in this clip).

We’re thrilled at the facts that Rhys Darby got to do The Late Show with David Letterman for the first time this past Friday and did so without the seemingly mandatory suit and tie for comedians.

David Letterman Extends CBS Deal Through 2015
We’d hope that David Letterman does something like he did for his 20th Anniversary with Bill Murray to celebrate the occasion of extending his contract and keep doing stuff like that because it was pretty great.
We’d be happy to watch that type of Late Show well through 2015.
Comedy legend, Steve Martin, now renowned bluegrass musician, only does bits of comedy here and there. Yet, when they happen, they are pretty fantastic.
Just watch Martin be his old hysterical self on Letterman this past week.

David Letterman Has Some Coffee with Jerry Seinfeld
David Letterman is the guest on Jerry Seinfeld’s latest episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and, honestly, it’s nice to see Letterman outside of a double breasted blazer pining to go to a hardware store.
It’s also pretty fun that they’re driving in a souped up Volvo station wagon from Paul Newman. Oh, how the other half of comedy lives…
The very funny Irish comedian Dylan Moran is making headway here in the States like performing on Letterman last night and we’re happy that he’s doing so.
Andy Kindler did a set on The Late Show with David Letterman last night and we’re so happy the rest of the country got to learn Kindler’s comedy formulas chunk as well as his transitions bits, and a third comedy technique that you’ll just have to watch the set to see.
All comedy 101 aside, it’s good to see someone finally get fun and loose on Letterman.
As John Oliver is filling in for Jon Stewart over at The Daily Show for the summer, Oliver is deadly terrified of what may happen and thus looking for any advice.
