The attempts to adapt John Kennedy Toole’s renowned Confederacy of Dunces from the page to stage and screen on a large scale has always been tenuous.

However, this latest try as a stage production with Nick Offerman starring as Ignatius J. Reilly seems to be tracking along just fine. It was only read at a workshop last year, but now is headed into full steam into Boston’s Huntington Theatre Company stage as adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher.

Look for the run, which we think might sell out quick, later this year in November and December.
