On Halloween this Wednesday, there will any and all sorts of haunted houses that you can imagine all throughout LA.

For those looking for something a little funnier (and maybe a little less scary), but staying in the spirit of the night, you can check UCB’s version of a haunted house that they’re calling “Yanny or Laurel Present Internet Expl-Horror”.

Many of the UCB faithful will take over and utilized several of the rooms, spaces, common areas, closets at UCB Sunset to make for this immersive comedy experience.

They have four different times that you can enter this Wed., 7PM, 8PM, 9PM, and 10PM. Tickets are only $7 and you can and should get them here.

For those who attended UCB’s amazing Gene Wilder & Fidel Castro’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve (in Limbo) last year, you’ll know that UCB LA will be doing another immersive theater experience for Halloween with HOTEL HELL-A.

Basically, all of UCB Sunset (5419 W. Sunset Blvd.) will be transformed into a haunted house of sorts, but, you know, done with that Upright Citizens Brigade flair.

You have three chances to come into the “HOTEL HELL-A” on Halloween on Tuesday at 7:30PM, 9PM, and 10:30PM. Tickets are $7 and you should get them ASAP here, here, and here respectively.

You’re seeing a lot of Tenacious D in the news and deservedly so. They’ve announced their worldwide tour and the second edition of their comedy and music festival, Festival Supreme, is tomorrow.

On their appearance Conan, Jack Black goes into how he funded the festival as well as going through a map of the haunted house/maze, one of only many attractions coming tomorrow afternoon at The Shrine near USC.

Then, of course, no Tenacious D appearance on late night would be really complete without Jack Black and Kyle Gass rocking one of their tunes live, which, in this case, happens to be their song “History”.
