Comedian (specifically what we’d like to dub as “gonzo comedian” as he becomes part of the joke he’s making), storyteller, actor, and performance artist Moses Storm has just released his latest piece where he hysterically tries to cheat running the LA Marathon for bragging rights.

GOP Chair Loses His Job After Daily Show Interview

It’s honestly surprising that this hasn’t happened way more often with The Daily Show as the correspondents get a lot of moments where whatever politician, government official, etc. say something that they should immediately regret.

GOP Chair Don Yelton did that very thing commenting on voting districts during an interview with Daily Show correspondent Aasif Mandvi, losing his position, and offered up another example of what could be called “gonzo comedy”.

If you haven’t seen the amazing Rory Scovel play some sort of teacher or principal, just know he’s pretty damn funny as one. Case in point, check him as an AV Club teacher trying to profile normal people that have fallen on hard times, which goes quickly from a lesson in documentary to gonzo journalism with a great cameo from Matt Jones.
