Reading internet comments about something you created is one thing.
Secretly watching a focus group freely express their thoughts about your one hour stand-up special is a whole other terrifying thing altogether.
Yet, Natasha Leggero did just that for her “Live at Bimbo’s” special that just aired this past weekend.

Called “The Focus Group”, Sara will show in a short film how a focus group would analyze her body and show how ridiculous many beauty standards are today.
The Kickstarter campaign is looking to raise $9000 currently at $7355 as of this post. There’s three weeks to go before the campaign ends on Apr. 16th.

If there’s one a recurring issue that Nathan Fielder seems to have throughout hosting his show Nathan For You, it seems to be that many folks don’t like his persona very much. With this in mind, he hired an expressly diverse focus group to give him pointers on camera and make over his entire image in the hope that people will like him more.
