In and around LA, there will be fireworks aplenty. If you just get to a high point of elevation, you’ll be able to glimpse as bursts of lights as far as you can see.

If you also want to see comedy in addition to that, there are actually a few options for you including:

An afternoon of stand-up at Comedyland Presents iO Family Reunion (in Frogtown) 3:30PM, $5 Suggested Donation

One of LA’s best variety shows Scot Nery’s Boobie Trap w/special guest host Justin Willman @ King King 8PM, $17 in adv./$25 at door

Drunk comedians reenacting Jaws for Comedians Cinema Club @ Black Rabbit Rose 8PM, $15

For more comedy than that, you’ll have to just wait until July 5th, when you’ll have your usual festival’s worth amount of live comedy.
