It’s about time that T.J. Miller was the star of a feature length movie.

Ex-Criminals is a project from T.J. Miller and writer M. Miller Davis (he was head writer on The Gorburger Show) that they’re both writing together for T.J. to star in. It’s going to be written as a feature following a very dysfunctional couple that are also bank robbers over at DreamWorks.

If you’re familiar with T.J. as a genie or a blue demon or bewildering morning news crews or in his stand-up or eating Italian beef sandwiches in record time on Conan, you’ll know that something really great could be brewing here.

An animated supernatural action comedy will now have Bill Murray joining the likes of Seth Rogen, Rashida Jones, Jennifer Coolidge, Melissa McCarthy, and more.

Let’s hope that this isn’t another star studded cast doing a summer family movie that ends up being just for kids.

Noah Baumbach Has Been Secretly Directing an Animated Movie for Dreamworks

Noah Baumbach, the director of The Squid and The Whale, Frances Ha, Greenberg, and more complex, layered live action comedies is making his first step into directing in animated features with an animated adaptation of Berkeley Breathed’s Flawed Dogs, an illustrated novel for kids.

Tone wise, we’re so intensely curious where Baumbach is going to take this.
