Riki Lindhome and Natasha Leggero’s Another Period is returning for its third season next month to emphatically show that America is still making the mistakes that it did nearly 100 years in the past in the package of a highly enjoyable, over-the-top, 30 min period piece sitcom.

See for yourself in this trailer.

This new season of Another Period premieres on Tuesday, January 23rd on Comedy Central.

Just as the Kardashians are sticking around, The Bellacourts aren’t going anywhere either.

Another Period, Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome’s series based on real turn-of-the-century opulence is going to keep showing off the 1% of the 1900s being as wasteful as they can possibly be for a 3rd season at Comedy Central.

Season 2 doesn’t premiere until next month on June 15th, but the renewal just got announced today, which hopefully means Comedy Central knows something really great about season 2 that the rest of us don’t.

The stories of so many podcasts might just be getting recreated.

The 70s LA comedy scene series I’m Dying Up Here (written by Dave Flebotte based on a book by William Knoedelseder that Carrey attached himself to) is now getting added to the Showtime line-up.

So, you’ll get to see the LA comedy scene the last time it was the hot bed of comedy, some 40 years ago.

Accomplished actors and comedians will mix in the cast including Melissa Leo, Ari Graynor, Erik Griffin, Jon Daly, Armen Weitzman, Clark Duke, Michael Angarano, RJ Cycler, Alfred Molina, Al Madrigal, Stephen Guarino and more.

Since it’s only based on real life, we can only ponder what they’ll be calling The Comedy Store instead of The Comedy Store.

Jun. 23rd, the day that Another Period premieres on Comedy Central isn’t that far away.

To gear up for it, you can start familiarizing yourself with The Bellacourts, the old money family that Another Period follows.

Riki Lindhome and Natasha Leggero are two of the main Bellacourts and you can watch how they got to mark some social media firsts before the Internet and certainly social media existed like Twitter…

…Tinder…

…or going viral.
