Season 2 Trailer of Hidden America with Jonah Ray Includes a Not So Happy Anthony Bourdain

Hidden America with Jonah Ray is indeed a fake travel show that expertly skewers the whole TV genre that explores the culture of traveling here and abroad. The upcoming season has excited for more sharp, nuanced parodies of what real travel shows done in real cities with guests Joel Hodgson, Yvette Nicole Brown, Janet Varney and Jorge Garcia.

Also, in blurring the lines between the parody and real world, the one and only Anthony Bourdain of Parts Unknown fame, and a particularly incensed one at that, makes what seems to be a “fun” cameo on this new season of Hidden America.

See all of this and more in the season 2 trailer, then look for the season to start streaming on Seeso on Thursday, May 4th.

Get Bonnie McFarlane’s Memoir “You’re Better Than Me”

Bonnie McFarlane’s journey in comedy is the kind of journey that you almost wouldn’t believe given how cool, calm, and collected that Bonnie is when you see her on stage or hear her on a podcast. Yet, you’ll hear all about what she went through in her new memoir You’re Better Than Me.

From climbing the ranks of stand-up atypically, directing her own films, and being one of a handful of female stand-ups to have done Letterman, Bonnie has more than enough stories to show the improbably winding road she had to take to do comedy on her terms and keep it together all while doing so.

Get You’re Better Than Me fresh off Anthony Bourdain’s publishing arm.

Conan Aims To Do Many More Trip Shows and Wants To Be the ‘Anthony Bourdain of Comedy’

After his latest trip abroad along with his show, Conan O’Brien fielded questions from his studio audience, which largely focused on where he was going next.

From the looks of it, Conan enjoys stepping away from the desk and going across the globe as much as we do and aims to do these special travel episodes of Conan far into the foreseeable future.

Honestly, the idea of an Anthony Bourdain of comedy is good enough for a spin off as far as we’re concerned, if Conan can fit it into his schedule.
