Please Enjoy “Scrunchie” from Amy Zimmer

More and more these days, the need to breakaway, even for a brief, fleeting moment from everything that’s going on right now, becomes and more and more dire.

Something off-beat, absurd, otherworldly even is very likely the prescription to get through even a few more hours of the grotesque historical events that we’re living through.

With all of that in mind, you might very well enjoy this gem, Scrunchie, fresh from NYC-based comedian Amy Zimmer that’s part of Adult Swim’s adult swim smalls series.

To get the full effect, we’re not going to give you any context whatsoever and just let it do its magic (or else it might be ruined). So, please enjoy Zimmer’s Scrunchie here.

The mighty Dynasty Typewriter is expanding their live-streamed offering and have got it a very special show with Dynasty Confidential coming this Friday. The close and personal secrets of comedians will be revealed to Joel Kim Booster and then, he’ll do with it whatever he pleases.

Hearing secrets is already enough for a show, but giving free reign for Joel Kim Booster to do something with those potentially damning words will be so much damn fun. Those brave enough to be on this line-up are Catherine Cohen, Amy Zimmer, Bryan Yang, Marie Faustin, and Karen Chee (this special NYC line-up would dazzle even if they were just doing stand-up, FYI).

Dynasty Confidential is set to stream this Fri. May 29th 6PM PT/9PM ET. Tickets are $8.68 and you can and should go get them here (they’ll send you a Zoom link w/purchase of tickets).
