Can I Kick It? first came around in the glorious days of Nerdmelt @ Meltdown (RIP). It was a comedy show the hysterically dissected hip-hop by riffing on music videos, revisiting “out there” deep cuts, and even live rap battles.

Hosts, all great comedians and hip-hop aficionados, Tone Bell, Al Jackson, and Joe DeRosa will be bringing all of this and more to Hollywood American Legion Post 43 (2035 N Highland Ave.) this Sat., Jul. 20th at 8:30PM.

Tickets are only $10 and you can (and should) pick them up here.

If you’re in Chicago next week, go to this.

While in LA, we’ve got to thoroughly enjoy the stand-up of Al Jackson plenty on shows around town. If you’re in much of the rest of the country, you probably got to catch him on Hannibal Buress’ Comedy Camisado Tour.

But now, there’s a chance even more people can catch Al as he is taping his very first comedy special at The Vic Theatre in Chicago, IL on May 7th.

You can and should get your tickets here.
