Listen to Us Try to Find a Conspiracy Theory in an Episode of 30 Rock on the “Talk 30 Rock to Me” Podcast

Kimmie Lucas and Kelsey Laine have a real good time recounting the entire 30 Rock series, episode by episode on their podcast, Talk 30 Rock to Me.

They were nice enough to have us on to talk about the “Gavin Volure” episode guest starring Steve Martin.

In prepping for it, we almost found a conspiracy theory. Listen and you can find out what sort of weird rabbit hole we descended into.

NBC did let Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt get away.

However, it would seem that they’re not going to make the same mistake with another show from the minds behind 30 Rock.

So, with that in mind, catch the series premiere of Great News, the new show from Fey, Wigfield and Carlock (who delighted us all for years at the aforementioned 30 Rock) tonight at 9PM on NBC.

From the promo, there’s promise of something that could be really good here.

Creative Arts Emmys 2013 Awards Winners

Congratulations to Children’s Hospital, Louis CK, Comedy Central’s Night of Too Many Stars, South Park, 30 Rock, The Daily Show, Portlandia, and more for picking up Creative Arts Emmys last night for the good of televised comedy.

Hopefully, one day, short form and animated series will be recognized on the big night in the normal Primetime Emmys for simply being shows as opposed to the creative arts surrounding the shows.
