The hilarious Ron Funches doesn’t have time for a full hour talk show. In fact he doesn’t even the patience for a 15 min. talk show. Night Night with Ron Funches at Funny or Die is going for sub 5 minutes.

As far as Hulu’s original series go, this would be a great get. A pilot entitled Love, which is produced by Judd Apatow and co-written by Judd Apatow, Lesley Arfin, and Paul Rust might move forward with Gillian Jacobs as its star pending a few potential contractual and scheduling conflicts.
Basically, we’ll have to see what happens with Community to find out what happens with Love.

Jason Bateman To Direct, Star In FBI Wedding Comedy For Universal
Though the juxtaposition of FBI and wedding comedy might seem incongruous, Jason Bateman’s directorial debut with Bad Words was so fantastic that we’re on board with whatever he’s at work with here.
Like Bad Words, Bateman is set to direct and star and this has us thoroughly intrigued.

FX Orders Denis Leary’s ‘Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll’ To Series
Denis Leary has returned to FX after a hit run with Rescue Me with his rock comedy series Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll. Leary plays Johnny Rock who is trying to get his life back together as well as reunite the band, which could be fun to watch with Leary as a former rock star.
We’re curious to see if FX or FXx will ultimately air this come next year. We’re guessing FX.
In just over two weeks, David Rees’ “how-to” series Going Deep is going to premiere on the National Geographic Channel.
On July 14th when the series premieres, Rees will be “going deep” into such things like arm wrestling just like in this promo.
