This Better Be Funny Ep. 45 with Brent Weinbach

Here’s this week’s episode of This Better Be Funny, our podcast, with one of the funniest people we know, Brent Weinbach.

Jake and Jeremy eat ice cream with the absurdist comedian extraordinaire Brent Weinbach, which leads into a dissection of what is really meant by country strawberry, which somehow leads all the way to why Arsenio Hall got thrown off the air, which somehow leads to talk of getting a gun. Also, there’s a fleet of helicopters (that’s what Jake mispronounced in the intro) flying over head, not for Jake, Jeremy or Brent, but most likely for the number of prostitutes working in the area next to the ice cream parlor where this episode was recorded.

Chris Gethard Trying to Start Next Dance Craze After Gangnam Style

October 16, 2012

While Gangnam Style has taken the world like the Macarena did almost a score ago and the lesser known Ketchup Song a few years ago, Chris Gethard, with the guidance/command of IFC, is trying to make the next insanely popular dance, The Ritz Carlton, happen, though you’ll need to live in a city with a Ritz Carlton. Watch him do it here.

NOTE: This is one of the few instances in which we’ll not pass judgment on a person saying YOLO in real life.

Mitt Romney Should Really Take Some Debate Pointers From Patton Oswalt

During his panel appearance on Conan last night, Patton Oswalt discussed the upcoming presidential debates, specifically making the remark that Republican candidate Mitt Romney might have trouble in a town hall format. So, he gave him some pointers via a mock debate as Governor Oswalt with citizen Brian Poeshn asking a question.

We hope that there is a moment like this in the debate.
