During his panel appearance on Conan last night, Patton Oswalt discussed the upcoming presidential debates, specifically making the remark that Republican candidate Mitt Romney might have trouble in a town hall format. So, he gave him some pointers via a mock debate as Governor Oswalt with citizen Brian Poeshn asking a question.
We hope that there is a moment like this in the debate.
We will make another year end list of things we loved in comedy in 2012 and these, in one way or another, we’ll be on it.

Jimmy Kimmel’s Going to Brooklyn and David Letterman Will Be a Guest
We wonder if hipsters in Brooklyn will be anticipating Kimmel’s man on the street bits and what late night host ribbing will happen and if it will be as much as when Conan was on Letterman this year.
Notching in another appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, Don Rickles showed that he still is every bit the Mr. Warmth that made him famous by making fun of everything and everyone including the black people at the back of the audience.
As part of his YouTube Official Comedy web series, Swing Voter, the very funny Dave Hill moderated his own debate that asked the hard questions that probably wouldn’t make it television, but should. Based off his prowess and his swing voter status, Hill should moderate the final debate or there should be a 4th debate where Obama and Romney discuss the best movies to reference.
With taglines like “the future of free will” and “Let’s Destroy the Future Together” should make for a new comedy content site from former writers of The Onion that we’ll need a whole other day to spend on.
