Morning Debriefing 8/28/11

1) Anyone want to beat this record of Most Jokes Told in 1 Minute? Please someone beat it.

2) Results for Channel 101 for August… Congrats to Comedy Bureau favorites Sex Teenagers, the Parent Project, and the amazing new 101 show, Intimate Indiscretions for rounding out the top 5. [via Ben Pluimr]

August Channel 101

3) Not that we’re all that big fans of the VMAs unless music video extraordinaire Tom Scharpling is winning something (he just directed the Ettes newest video with Patton Oswalt playing him), Jonah Ray, DC Pierson, and Sean O’Connor did write for this edition which should prove for some funny stuff worthy of watching (MTV 9PM).

4) Everyone’s favorite ad man, Dan Dringle, is now going to post weekly. If you want an ad written for something, he’ll even take submissions at

5) Here’s Chris Fairbanks as a Jersey guido thinking he’s going to an exclusive dance club instead of the live BMX event in the LA river he’s actually going to.

6) There’s an eleventh part to Jeff MacKinnon’s coverage of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival? Yep.
