Morning Debriefing 4/7/12

1) Thank you to The Nerdist YouTube Channel for bringing back Kids in the Hall!

2) The Moth got a lovely feature on Last Call with Carson Daly

3) The Sklar Brothers “non-debate” sports on their web series, Point/Point.

4) The Nerdist YouTube Channel will be doing a live taping of Tournament of Nerds Sat. Apr. 14th at Fastlane Studios in Burbank, CA. Want to be part of the studio audience? E-mail with your name, number of people in your party, email address, phone number, and what taping you would like to attend, the 11AM, the 4PM, or both.

5) Greta Gerwig has been killing it when it comes to rom-com-ish indie flicks, which makes us excited for Lola Versus.

6) Comedy Central expanded the comedy line-up at Bonnaroo

7) You know that you can preorder Paul F. Tompkins’ Laboring Under Delusions on DVD/do what you were already planning to do this Saturday?

8) Comedy abroad-ish:
Chris Fairbanks in Montana at the end of this month
Jen Kirkman in Arizona in May
James Adomian across America through May
Todd Barry in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. through June

9) Payman Benz, director of many hilarious sketches/web videos, was listed as a reference for an apartment, then was called and asked if webisodes were a real thing as well as being a terrorist.

10) Can we make live existential meltdowns it’s own art form please, so I don’t have to see it in live comedy anymore?
