Morning Debriefing 11/1/11

1) Today might start off for you in a pretty great way as the humor section at your local bookstore gets a big bump today with the release of  John Hodgman’s That Is All and Chris Hardwick’s The Nerdist Way: How to Reach the Next Level in Life AND Ben Schwartz & Amanda McCall’s Maybe Your Leg Will Grow Back: Looking on the Bright Side with Baby Animals.

2) Another reason to break your piggy bank violently: Jay Larson’s “Self-Diagnosed” comes out today on AST Records.

3) Last night, Reggie Watts “did” his own version of the “Boys Are Back In Town” and Bill Burr promotes awareness for the “platoon of whores”.

4) Attack of the Show names The Midnight Show Kings of Dot Comedy. We’re going to completely agree with them on that.

5) Jerrod Carmichael talks about his first time headlining on the road.

6) At the NY Comedy Festival, Comedy Central names this year’s Comics to Watch.

7) You might have read that Rob Delaney is suing Kim Kardashian over her sham marriage. Yesterday, Jill Kushner got a greater explanation and what Delaney has in store for Kim and the E! empire.
