Morning Debriefing 10/30/11

1) Fox’s newest animated series that’s not really for kids, but kids will watch it anyway, Allen Gregory premieres tonight 8:30PM following the Simpsons.

2) Channel 101 LA Results for October-1) Gumbel  2) Intimate Indiscretions 3) Switcher  4) The Parent Project  5) Sex Teenagers. We can’t wait for next month to see if they can top a live episode, a show without much of a story, and more.

3) Despite the calendar year having 2 more months to go and comedy albums coming from Jay Larson, Pete Holmes, and TJ Miller all in the next month, Huffington Post makes a year end guide to 2011 comedy albums.

4) Amanda Baramki makes a great comic strip called, The Comic’s Trip, about being a comedian that should be printed and posted at every open mic. Check it out at MyComicStrip.tumblr.com.

5) Though Sex Teenagers finished 5th in Channel 101 last night, their fake movie, Rape Action starring Matt Braunger, within their episode should win an Oscar.

10) I would say dressing up as a zombie is the new sexy occupation costume, but to legitimately make that observation would involve me going to a Halloween party, which I have no intention of doing as no one appreciated me dressing up as House a few years ago, despite walking with a limp.
