Watch a Late Night Talk Show Without an Audience

Though Hurricane Sandy has forced most shows to shut down production, Jimmy Fallon and David Letterman opted to tape their Monday episodes anyway sans audience. It’s bizarre to see the cutaways of no audience and the cast and crew only laughing, but we didn’t feel at a loss or confused while watching the show at all for the lack of applause or room laughs at all. It felt all the more intimate. Give them a watch and see if you like hearing the laughs you normally hear from a warmed-up and prompted audience or not.
