Originally opened as The National all the way back in 1914, The Regent operated as an adult/grindhouse movie theater for so many decades in DTLA. It closed in 2000 then re-opened in 2012 to a DTLA on the up and up and hosts all sorts of music, comedy shows, and podcast tapings.
