Though located far from LA proper, the Ice House carries the esteemed reputation of being the LA area’s oldest operating comedy club, opened in 1960. Like many long running comedy clubs of its time, it was previously a music venue, featuring many folk music acts before it became a full time comedy venue. The Ice House has featured so many of the biggest comedy acts in America for decades and continues to do so with its two rooms, the Main Room and Stage 2.
