BEATdown: Los Angeles @ The UCB Theater. Man, oh man, do I rarely walk out of a show going “that was the most fun I have ever had.” But, my dear followers, companions and dogwalkers, that is just what happened this past Saturday night. Eliza Skinner runs one hell off a show that puts rap and comedy center stage. She’s been doing it for years out of NY and it has recently been the slam jam out here in LA. If ever you want a dose of comedy in a different form that comes from the gut using your dope beats, then get your ass to the BEATdown monthly. Or else, sucka.
