Just in case it wasn’t clear how great Riot LA will be in what we posted yesterday, this is their official poster.
Also, once again, passes/tickets are now on sale.
Robyn Von Swank: Here is a wedding photo I shot for Kate Freund and Rob Schrab. It features Dan Harmon, who was their Officiant, warming up for his duties. Have a nice day.
We’re surprised by very little in LA comedy anymore, but, every once in awhile, someone will say, “Oh yeah, we’re going to have a show in a video store tonight with Wendy Liebman, Hannibal Buress, Brent Weinbach, and Josh Fadem. You should come out.”
Then we have what many people have come to call a “WTF moment”.
But hey, stuff like that just happens, right?
We’re getting all meta up in here with our new logo (Thanks to the very funny Matt Champagne for the inspiration for this).
Excited to announce The Super Serious Show is going to Austin for South By Southwest this year. March 12th! Presented by Funny or Die & Caviar.
Have fun with this Austin. This is one of our favorite shows back here in LA. If we had jurisdiction in TX, we’d make attendance compulsory.

Whether you were there at Club Fais-Do-Do or not that night, this was pretty spectacular.
We were just feeling like we hadn’t addressed SOPA/PIPA and it’s relevance to comedy enough today. Thankfully, Paul F. Tompkins has that covered.
This Thursday I will be Skyping a live set from LA into the yummy ears of Ireland. If you live there, it’s at 9pm. If you live here, it’s at 1pm (our time) and you can come over my house and watch me awkwardly do standup in my kitchen to a crowd of hundreds. Sounds so rad, right? RIGHT.
LA comedy is going worldwide in a few minutes with @JCCoccoli. Tune in.
Breaking Arrested Development News of the Day: Arrested Development creator Mitchell Hurwitz, at the New Yorker Festival cast reunion, just announced plans to bring back the critically acclaimed TV series for one more season — ahead of a long-anticipated Arrested Development movie.
The New York Times’ Dave Itzkoff reports that the new season will be composed of 9-10 “where are they now” episodes, providing context for the film.
[@newyorker / @ditzkoff.]
Glad to hear that Arrest Development is coming back for one more season, but there’s a little bit of conspiracy theorist in us that thinks this might be a ploy to break up Occupy New York.
Here’s the new poster I designed for Patton Oswalt! He’s presenting a mini film festival in LA.
You can now order it and other posters I’ve designed for him right HERE!
We’re normally not a big fan of film Q&A’s, but we’ll make an exception for Patton Oswalt.

TONIGHT! CLICK THE FLIER FOR THE FB INVITE!
The 4 & 20 is a workshop show, featuring 4 of LA’s best comedians working out rare, longer 20 minute sets. You won’t see these anywhere else in town, folks. AND it’s FREE! Also, there’s cheap drinks from a kickass bartender. Did I mention it’s a bowling alley/dive bar? If we had a corgi puppy, then there would be nothing else you could want.
We’re working on a corgi puppy.
