It’s unfortunate that Last Week Tonight is off for a few weeks given all that’s happening in the world. 

At the very least, John Oliver and company have given a web exclusive video that runs down the weirder portions of the YouTube comments that they receive in their absence.

Trevor Moore’s “High In Church” Premieres Tonight/Now Available on CC:Direct

The sketch variety special from Trevor Moore “High In Church” Is premiering tonight on Comedy Central at midnight. Already, we’ve enjoyed his songs/bits “Kitty History”, “Gays Got Married” as well as these ones that were just released “The Ballad of Billy John”, a ballad about YouTube comments, and “Geniuses”, a pretty great commentary about certain exemptions from our history textbooks.

If you’ve enjoyed all of this and can’t wait until midnight, you can watch High in Church now on CC:Direct for $7. For $10, you can get unlimited album downloads of the special.

Either way you choose, just make sure you watch it.

Even though there has been plenty written on how great/hilarious/informative/effective/etc. Last Week Tonight has been, YouTube is of course a den where haters and trolls of all shapes and sizes of usernames can make themselves heard in a capacity of some kind which include digs on John Oliver and his show.

Watch it here and note the transparency that Oliver observes on his satirical news show versus real news.
