There’s a New Comedy Thriller Coming This Way with “Am I Being Unreasonable?”
Search Party, Only Murders in the Building, Back to Life, Poker Face are all part of a burgeoning trend that gloriously blends the comedy and thriller genres.
Case in point, the new BBC series from Daisy May Cooper and Selin Hizli, Am I Being Unreasonable? that’s coming to Hulu this Spring. UK comedy stars Cooper and Hizli slowly unravel a dark secret of a deeply troubled mother and wife through a new friendship that starts to bring her out of her seemingly bottomless emotional hole. From the looks of this first U.S.-Hulu bound trailer, Cooper’s self-destructive antics seem to be worth making this part of your viewing algorithm on Hulu.
Hopefully, Hulu will just put all the episodes up at once for this one and not make us wait week-to-week (especially since a second season is already in the works). We’ll find out when Hulu debuts Am I Being Unreasonable? on Tues. Apr. 11th.
