Here’s one gem from Conan’s 3rd Annual Scrapisode from last night. As Conan says in this clip “TV is a lie,” but few hosts highlight that lie and make it fun all the same like he does.

It’s actually, and thankfully, an annual tradition at Team Coco to ‘scrap’ together outtakes, rehearsal footage, etc. into one episode of wondrous chaos.
This will be the third annual Scrapisode tonight and you shouldn’t miss it.
It’s more proof that Conan O’Brien could just have a spin-off cut from tape of his very own show.
Even more riffs, flubs, tomfoolery a plenty come in the 2nd Scrapisode from Conan.
Enjoy Conan at his loosest whether it be going back and forth with Andy, producers, camera men, guests, or bands that had taped their sets days earlier.
Get ready for more of what should make it to air more often on Conan, but doesn’t probably because Conan O’Brien isn’t in his suit playing a guitar.
Last year, we had a real good time seeing what goes on Conan’s stage before the show tapes or when the broadcast has cut to commercial on their very first Scrapisode.
Thankfully, they’re doing another Scrapisode this Thursday.

Well, we all got a look into exactly what that is like with his Scrapisode full of rehearsals, bloopers, etc. like Conan laughing through entire desk piece or randomly breaking into a cover of Radiohead’s Creep.
If you’ve followed Team Coco online, you’ve probably gotten a chance to see some rehearsal footage where Conan O’Brien and company really play fast and loose. It’s a whole bunch of fun seeing Conan at the helm, wearing his guitar rather than a tailored suit.
Well, the entire episode of Conan tonight will be all cut together from that very same crazy rehearsal footage to make a “scrapisode”. It’s yet another first by Conan O’Brien that should be pretty great like his stop motion animation episode or Occupy Conan.
