Ben Schwartz’s That Kind of a War, a comedy about Bob Hope trying to entertain troops at The Korean War, will be doing a live read with a top notch cast next week (just look at that cast above), Saturday, March 24th at The Montalban Theater.

We’re pretty sure this will sell out soon. Tickets are $20-$25 and you really ought to get them ASAP here.

TBS Orders Pilot for a Rob Riggle Late Night Sports Talk Show

TBS seems to be doing well to have open arms for ex-Daily Show correspondents.

Potentially, Rob Riggle could be joining Jason Jones and Samantha Bee on TBS with his very own show that would take the sports angle in a weekly late night talk show.

Also, as another welcome change of pace, the show would take place in Las Vegas, which should provide a fun backdrop for plenty of remote segments.

There’s potential here as there is currently only one other show to really figure out the balance of late night, sports, and comedy: Garbage Time with Katie Nolan.

ATTN MORTALS: ALL NEW EPISODES OF @GOLANINSATIABLE START THIS SUNDAY NIGHT ON @FOXTV AT 9:30PM. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!! pic.twitter.com/hVPstjW9lW

Tonight will mark both the premiere of Golan The Insatiable the return of a new cartoon from Fox ADHD on Fox since they were taken off Fox’s schedule a year ago, then moved to FXx.

So, tune in 9:30PM tonight on Fox to Aubrey Plaza and Rob Riggle voice a sinister little girl and her demon pal and hopefully proof that Fox ADHD will indeed work as testing ground for new animated series that will eventually find their way to Fox.

Here’s The Trailer For Fox’s Upcoming Animated Series “Golan The Insatiable”

Aubrey Plaza voices a misunderstood goth girl and Rob Riggle voices an ancient demon and the two become friends in Fox’s latest animated series Golan The Insatiable, coming from Fox ADHD.

The casting seems pretty on point here and, though the premise is darker than The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, American Dad, or Family Guy, this trailer shows that Golan could potentially be as goofy and absurd as the rest of the bunch.

We’ll find out if that’s so when Golan The Insatiable premieres on May 31st at 9:30PM on Fox.

With the announcements of which pilots have been picked up for the next year well behind us, there is still hope for a handful of projects at other networks.

Jim Gaffigan’s pilot might have a chance a TV Land after going through a few rounds at CBS while Jerrod Carmichael is getting another shot at NBC. Also, Rob Lowe and Rob Riggle’s tennis comedy pilot The Pro and legal comedy Sober Companion starring Nick Frost and Justin Long are still being considered at Fox.

We’re glad to hear that all these projects are still in play and will keep our fingers crossed as long as we can in hopes that they get picked up.

Rob Riggle to Co-Star in NBC’s Rob Lowe Tennis Comedy Pilot

Rob Riggle who has a history of bringing the worlds of comedy and sports together is now set to play opposite Rob Lowe’s tennis comedy pilot The Pro at NBC.

We’re pretty sure this is what should be called perfect casting, especially considering that you could say Rob vs. Rob.

Rob Riggle Joins ‘Dumb and Dumber To’

Honestly, it’s news to us that Rob Riggle wasn’t already part of the Dumb and Dumber sequel. We’re not sure what role he’ll be playing, but we have little doubt that he will have been perfectly cast.
