Leave it to Billy Eichner to have New Yorkers gush about Reese Witherspoon while staring straight into the eyes of Kate McKinnon (i.e. not Reese Witherspoon). Don’t worry, there are a few that figured it out.

In any case, it’s another great ep. of Billy on the Street. Get into it here.

Unquestionably one of the best films of the 90s, Election closed out the decade with a breakout performance from Reese Witherspoon and a great directorial showing from Alexander Payne.

TruTV’s truInside will explore the behind-the-scenes story of how improbably Election was to make despite being looked back as a brilliant satirical comedy that will probably hold up for decades to come.

Here’s a preview before tonight’s episode that airs at 10PM on TruTV.

After The Descendants and Nebraska, Alexander Payne is delving into slightly more fantastical territory with latest project, “Downsizing”. Matt Damon and Reese Witherspoon will star in the film centered on a man thinking his life would be better if he shrank himself. Alec Baldwin, Neil Patrick Harris, and Jason Sudeikis round out a fine cast.

Witherspoon probably won’t reprise a sort of Tracy Flick role as that was here character in Payne’s Election, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it was just as memorable.
