TBS just did their upfront presentation today and unveiled the series trailer for procedural comedy Angie Tribeca from Steve and Nancy Carell starring Rashida Jones and it’s definitely some good ol’ fun.

TBS Orders Steve Carell’s Police Comedy ‘Angie Tribeca’ Starring Rashida Jones

We were wondering what happened with this pilot formerly known as Tribeca because, just from the folks involved Steve and Nany Carell as well as Rashida Jones and the spare details available, it still sounded pretty great.

Angie Tribeca is set for a ten episode run at TBS next year.

NBC is seemingly off to a good start this round of pilot season as they have just ordered pilots from the hilarious duo of Casey Wilson and June Diane Raphael as well as one from the delightful Rashida Jones.

Perhaps, this time, they won’t let these projects go like they did with Mulaney.

Bill Murray Joins ‘B.O.O.’ at Dreamworks

An animated supernatural action comedy will now have Bill Murray joining the likes of Seth Rogen, Rashida Jones, Jennifer Coolidge, Melissa McCarthy, and more.

Let’s hope that this isn’t another star studded cast doing a summer family movie that ends up being just for kids.

Even before she’s exiting Parks and Recreation, Rashida Jones has been busy at work with Will McCormack developing TV series for Warner Bros. Television and has just landed her first pilot over at Fox.

While Sam Elliot Will Be Guest Starring, Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe Are Leaving Parks and Recreation

It is great news that Ron Swanson’s/Nick Offerman’s doppelgänger will be played by Sam Elliott, but a potential facial hair stare down doesn’t quite balance out yesterday’s announcement of Parks and Recreation cast members Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe leaving the show. 

With that being said, we’re excited to see what Rashida comes up with in her big TV deal with Warner Bros. TV that she got a few months ago.
