As it’s National Voter Registration Day today, it’s only fitting that we recommend the comedy show dedicated to voting, Looking Forward to It. Throughout the last couple of years, this show has brought together the very best of the NYC comedy scene to raise funds for voter engagement, which is very much in dire need as it has been for years and years now.
This upcoming edition of Looking Forward to It on Tues. Sept. 27th at Littlefield at 8PM will be specifically supporting Emily’s List, a fund dedicated to pro-choice female candidates in the upcoming midterm elections. Making up any ground from Roe vs. Wade being overturned is a crucial cause and, very likely, abortion access will be the defining issue of this upcoming 2022 Midterm Elections.
So, with all of that in mind, you’ll be supporting essential work as well as enjoying the comedy stylings of Joyelle Nicole Johnson, Michael Cruz Kayne, Karen Chee, and hosts Josh Gondelman and Alison Leiby. Again, they’re some of the most beloved comics in NYC right now.

Tickets are $19.51 and you can and very, very much should go get them here.
