Disengaged from Jen Tullock and Hannah Pearl Utt is still, hands down, one of our favorite web series this year.

So, we’re thrilled to here that there are more episodes coming starting next week on Monday, April 18th at Super Deluxe.

Here’s a midseason trailer to give you a taste of what else is in store for a rushed engagement as a result of DOMA being stricken down.

We know it’s only March, but Hannah Utt and Jen Tullock’s web series Disengaged, streaming at Super Deluxe, is already on our short list for one of our favorite things that we’ve come across this year.

Disengaged follows Utt and Tullock as a lesbian couple who rush getting married after DOMA is struck down. The whirlwind of events that follow are simultaneously so organic, grounded, timely, and damn hysterical.

The pilot was released late last year, but the next four episodes of season 1 are all streaming right now.

Yes, Super Deluxe has grown up and returned to the Internet. From their pre-Adult Swim days, they have re-emerged with content just as intriguing, but more layered, complex, genre-blurred, and emotionally resonant.

Case in point: Their first series, Disengaged, from Hannah Pearl Utt and Jen Tullock which follows a lesbian couple just after the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down the ban on gay marriage nationwide, and how their shaky relationship will fare following such a breakthrough for the LGBTQ community.
