Couples in Olden Times Would Have Argued Like Us If They Knew How

Sketch group Hush Money makes an interesting hypothesis with their sketch Correspondence Fight. If people in relationships from centuries past knew the sort of sarcastic, passive aggressive language we use so frequently today, they would have opted for that over their verbose prose.

Whether or not that’s true, which would be impossible to verify without a time machine, it makes for a pretty funny sketch.
