Quentin Tarantino’s putting on a whole night of his comedy horror favorites including Love at First Bite, An American Werewolf in London, Beetlejuice, Modern Problems, and The Fearless Vampire Killers at the New Beverly Cinema. There will also, of course, be short films and rare trailers worked in throughout.

It’s all set for Saturday, October 29th at 8PM and will go until the break of dawn.

Currently, Quentin’s Horror Comedy All-Nighter is sold out, but there will be a stand-by line in case of refunds or cancellations. More details here.

In “movies-that-are-happening” news, a sequel to Beetlejuice is finally going forward with Tim Burton back at the helm. Not only has the director confirmed the sequel, he has also said that Winona Ryder will also be returning. There’s no official word on whether Michael Keaton will reprise the titular role, but he has expressed interest before.

We’re not sure what Lydia Deetz and Beetlejuice could have been up to all these years, but we’re glad to know that we’ll be finding out in the not so distant future.

You could have a game show style wheel to pick one of the multitude of different things that James Franco does, but, in AOL’s case, he’s just getting a random classic scene from the cinematic canon from the same style of wheel and mashing it up with a genre or another classic film scene.

It’s called “Making a Scene” and it’s the reason that this pretty great, weird, mash up between Batman and Beetlejuice now exists.
