2525 presents, april fool's day, dtla, k town, live comedy, los angeles, no joke, stand up, what to do

Unlike most other things, comedy gets pretty serious on April Fool’s Day.

So, naturally, several great shows will be happening, one of which will be this No Joke presented by 2525 in DTLA as you can see in the flyer above.

Tickets range from $7 for earlybirds to $15 for all night entry to make sure you get in and get a good spot for the show. Also, part of the proceeds go to Planned Parenthood.

While other Google April Fools’ Day pranks did go quite as they had hoped, we think the one where Google X brought on Richard Hendricks/Thomas Middleditch from HBO’s Silicon Valley as a Chief Compression Officer worked out pretty well.

Watch how Hendricks “fits” right in at X.

Yes, not even April Fool’s Day can escape the scrutiny of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

Oliver and company urge us all in their week off to not engage in the misguided holiday that is April Fools’ Day in order to hurt or embarrass those close to us. (If this is somehow a set up for a prank on April Fools’ Day, then we’ll have to wait until Wed. to find out)

Watch his important message here.

Craig Ferguson and Drew Carey Set to Swap Hosting Gigs for April Fool’s Day

The prospect of Craig Ferguson hosting The Price Is Right and Drew Carey doing a night of The Late Late Show, especially after their time together on The Drew Carey Show, will undoubtedly be a good time.

However, as this is supposed to be part of April Fool’s Day “festivities”, we are tempted to suspect that there’s more to this than just swapping.
