It shouldn’t surprise any of you, but Will Ferrell, Bill Hader, Key & Peele, Maria Bamford, Amy Poehler, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Jim Gaffigan, Parks and Recreation, This Is The End, Modern Family, and Louis C.K. all went home with last night’s American Comedy Awards.

Vote For Your Favorites in NBC’s Upcoming American Comedy Awards

NBC’s American Comedy Awards just announced their nominations which span film, TV, the web, and live comedy which has This Is The End, Brian Regan, Key & Peele, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and BriTANick all nominated under the same awards banner.

You can actually vote for your favorite amongst the nominees to hopefully win when the ceremony is televised on May 15th on NBC.

NBC Reviving ‘American Comedy Awards’ After 13 Years

Strangely, the American Comedy Awards are not only being revived, but changing hands as it was originally at ABC. We’re not sure what this new awards special will bring, how much it will honor ratings versus acclaim, but, as far as we know, Comedy Central is still doing their own Comedy Awards, which makes us wonder which one would be the Oscars of comedy versus the Golden Globes/Emmys of comedy.
