Per usual, Oliver put his main segment on Last Week Tonight to good use by talking torture and its real life ineffectiveness. It’s especially timely as an amendment that would effectively put President Obama’s executive order regarding torture into law is up for a vote soon.

Of course, with the a reference to Mel Gibson movies and the use of Dame Helen Mirren’s lovely voice, Oliver makes it quite enjoyable and not at all like his subject matter.

Watch it here.
