Lauded comedian poet Derrick C. Brown (he’s made our year end list) is exploring new territory by doing a musical about a man who just gained the world record for being struck by lightning the most times and dealing with the bizarre celebrity that comes with such a title.

Called 300 Bones, it’s having a night at Steve Allen Theater thanks to Trepany House next month. The musical is written by Brown with music by Amanda Rafkin.

Tickets are $10 and you can (and should) get them here.
